I first got interested in windsurfing through photography…had been taking shots of windsurfers and selling them, with some success. I realised the people doing it were having a lot of fun, so I was thinking about having a go at some point myself. Then one miserable windy September Sunday, I was walking along Hunstanton sea front with the wife and kids and saw some people out on the water. Realised they were having a lot more fun than I was, so I resolved to give it a go. Next weekend I had my first lesson.
