Cruising, Speedster, Wave Head, Freestyler, Beginners and Intermediates; whatever your style you are welcome at the Weymouth Windsurfing Association! We live in one the world’s premier windsurfing locations, young or old we want you to get windsurfing on your own doorstep.

WWA was established in Autumn 2008 by local windsurfers keen to promote and protect this fantastic sport in the Weymouth region.

We have got off to a great start with an elected committee and over twenty members. The mission statement is set, the website is up and we are ready to go!

Naturally our first priority is an inaugural WWA Beach BBQ. Members and non-members of all ages welcome:

6.30pm Onwards, Friday 8th May, FerryBridge Beach, Portland Harbour. See you there, and don’t forget your wetsuit

• To demonstrate the value of windsurfing to the local economy
