A big attraction for me is the huge array of disciplines to aim at within the sport, from light wind freestyle, through high wind blasting and advanced freestyle, to wave sailing. I’ve also found it a really great community and can’t think of many sports where beginners like me get to go out on the same playing field with pros. Pottering around an old Bedfordshire clay pit with a pro who’s usually competing around the world on huge gnarly waves is a great experience
