I had been thinking about having another go at windsurfing as a bit of a fill in sport to the surfing and various other things I do, I hadn't been near a windsurf board in probably 17 years when I was just a small kid.

I went down to Hove Lagoon to look into how much it was to do a course. They informed me that National Windsurfing Week was coming up and there would be trial lessons happening for just a fiver which I could not pass up on.

I couldn't ask for more on the course I managed to pick up all the basics within the hour or so we were on the water and even managed to get the hang of beach starts.

After one more practice session they said why not book straight on to the level 2 course which I did a few weeks later.

Since then I have purchased a board and rig and are now constantly looking out for good sailing days and trying to get on the water as much as possible.
